Grown in the rich loam near the shores of Lake Toba, which occupies the caldera of the Toba supervolcano. Lake Toba Samosir was prepared in the honey or pulped-natural style, rarely used in Indonesia. Honey process removes the cherry skin, leaving the parchment and allowing the fruity mucilage to soak into the coffee. It’s a unique gem.
